Heritage Flight Museum

May 25th, 2025

My wife and I volunteer at the Heritage Flight Museum in Burlington WA. A place dedicated to bringing the aircraft of the past to the public. The museum was founded by Bill Anders the astronaut and his wife Valerie.

Fly days are every month from April to September. If you have not gone. I recommend it.

The museum provides a special area for photographers now. Closest placement to the aircraft I have seen anywhere. We had a good crowd of photographers taking advantage of the opportunity and talking aviation and photography.

I was pleased that my leg cooperated and I was able to spend the whole day there taking pictures. I did need to use a chair in-between shooting opportunities. Only issue was the sunburn on the backs of my hands and cheeks.
