Fly Day

May 25th, 2026

Volunteered at the Heritage Flight Museum in Burlington WA. The weather was sketchy with low cloud ceiling. I was worried people wouldn’t show up but they did and as the day proceeded the weather got better and better. By the end of the day we got the Mustang up in the air which was awesome.

What makes the museum work are the volunteers who selflessly donate their time to running these fly days. All the people that run these days are volunteers. I have included pictures of these volunteers in this blog so you see those who do this work to keep these fly days running.
