Canadian Goose Young

Spring has begun. We traveled to Wenatchee Washington to find the signs of spring everywhere. The trees are in full bloom or leafed out. Around half of the apple trees were still in bloom. There are the sounds of birds in the trees everywhere.

I spent some time walking up a path along the Wenatchee river. There were several small birds that cooperated and let me photograph them. Not an easy process since these birds seldom pause for more than a moment. It is often hard to find them in the viewfinder. Fortunately I had luck several times mostly because of perseverance and patience (Mostly).

While walking along the river we saw two pairs of Canadian Geese with their young. These young birds were a wonderful bright color yellow in the partly cloudy sky. I was resigned to assuming I would not be able to get down to eye level with these birds until I discovered a path down to the rocky beach hosting these birds. Awesome gift which allowed me to get closeup with these birds.
