Leather Outfit

Curls arrived with a black leather outfit that spoke to both of us. The challenge was how to emphasize the shapes and lines against a black background. I started with a Profoto D2 with a 3 foot soft box on a boom arm above and in front of Curls. This brought wonderful light to her body but didn’t add anything to her darker outfit. The solution was to add a second Profoto D2 with a zoom reflector, barn doors, and red gel. I adjusted the barn doors to avoid putting red on the background and place this strobe to the front left of Curls.
