Foggy Morning
March 1st, 2025
The morning started out clear and quickly became foggy. The first place I went to had harsh sunrise light over the field making flight shots challenging but that didn’t matter much because the friendly short eared owl was slumbering under the brush near by and not interested in hunting. I did see a golden crowned sparrow on the ground that I was able to capture but that was it.
So I headed over to Wylie road figuring I would explore a new area. Glad I did. Lovely gravel trails with haunting foggy trees on both sides of me. No birds though. I met another photographer and we walked 2 miles with no birds. At the end we found a robin and a flicker in a tree nearby with only a bit of fog. Made the walk worth it.
