Afternoon birds

I got out after work today and went out to the Bayview Edison road area to see what I could find. The sky was partly cloudy and felt much more like spring for one of the first days in the year. At one point a northern harrier flew right by me. When I looked at the images later, the bird was looking right towards me.
The short eared owl drew a lot of attention from the vast majority of the photographers there. The better weather brought a lot out. It was interesting to watch all these people looking at this single bird on the ground while there were other birds flying around the sky.
