Fly Day
June 21st, 2025
A good fly day with moderate weather finally came after a stormy early morning. When I woke up I was worried. The cloud ceiling was too low for fly. There was rain which was supposed end around mid morning. So there was hope for a fly day and we left for the museum.
When we got to the museum everyone was cautiously hopeful but we were definitely going to be delayed. The planes were out but the hangar doors were closed. As the weather got better, the doors opened and eventually the Mustang was brought out.
I was glad to see people there both museum members and attendees. A lot more people than I expected on such a touchy day. We all had hope. Our hope was rewarded as the plane started going into the air.
The benefit of the cloudy day brings less harsh highlights and variable skies. The result are the images shown here.
