Fir Island

I had a brief period of bright light peaking through this afternoon. The areas near by my house were glowing in the light as I drove over to the nearby fir Island area. There were many Short Eared Owls flying around the nearby fields. I followed them with my eyes and my camera. Most of the time the birds were far off, but patience rewarded me with brief moments when they would wander closer.
