Beaver Visit

One of the beavers came to visit and gave us quite the show. I have seen beavers around several times but never close enough to get anything more than a small head swimming in the water. On this day it was different.
The beaver swam in slowly and gave us several views as Lily pads were consumed on the way to a stand of wood. The only issue, the wood was very hidden and I wasn’t able to get shots of the beaver in the foliage.
For the last part of the show, the beaver swam even closer to my viewing platform. As the beaver swam, there were regular pauses to grab and consume the Lily pads that have started to appear in our area.
